Updating a copy you already have

  1. Open Pixel Jump and choose Settings. Write down your best height and gems, or use BACK UP SAVE in the same panel. Keep the old file until the new one shows your progress: the first locked-code release cannot read backups made before it.
  2. Download the new file above.
  3. Put it in the same folder as the old one, with the same filename, and replace it.
  4. Open it. If your progress is missing, use RESTORE SAVE in Settings and paste a backup code made by a locked-code version.

The portable copy checks this page for a new version at most once a day, and the menu shows an update chip when one exists. CHECK FOR UPDATES in Settings checks right away.

What stays, what doesn't

Co-op, the Pixel of the Hour (paid for with gems), Records and your saves all work offline. The daily top 10 needs the score server and can be empty; co-op may fall back to a direct connection. Saves belong to the browser and the file, so keep the same filename and folder when you update.
